It has been awhile since I last blogged here.. Ever since FB exist, I really hooked on it and seldom came to blog abt my life and complaints here..

Alot of changes in my life.. We got a new Teo addition to our family, presenting Mr Dexter Teo..

He is 6mth old today.. Time really flies.. And my lao da is already going to be 3yo this coming Oct.. :)

Also, we had a maid which I never thought I will hav.. Although she has been a great helper to me, I still not very happy with her performance.. But then again, who is perfect rite?

It has been a long time since I last blog.. I hav delivered my 2nd boy, Dexter Teo on 22 Jan via C section.. :) He weighed 2.94kg, height is 48cm and head is 33cm.. Very very happy and satisfied cos I was so fearful thru out this pregnancy.. Thank goodness it was a smooth sailing one and still can tong till 38wk2d for elective c section.. :)

Now struggling with sleepless nite, but thanks to my hubby, he helped me by bringing Dexter to another room to sleep so that I can hav my beauty sleep during the weekends.. :)

Mummy post : Yest went for my 17wks gynae appt.. Was not very happy with the consultation.. Waited for nearly 2hrs and went in for only less than 5mins.. My gynae didn't even measure the length of my bb to double confirm the edd.. 1st date given by him is 1st Feb, 2nd date is 3rd Feb then other gynae scan show my edd is 27 jan.. what a great diff.. When ppl ask me abt my edd, I really dun know which date to tell them.. But then again, whether I think of how he comfort me and pat on my shoulder during my cyst removal operation and the encouragement he gave me, I feel better and think at least I didn't choose the wrong gynae..

Still didn't know the gender yet cos bb choose to cross his/her legs during the scan yest.. Gotta wait till 16 Sept (detailed scan in TMC) to know the mystery.. lol.. Hopefully bb will cooperative, dun be like his kor kor like that, make the sonographer tsk tsk tsk and shake her head.. lol..

Mummy post : I m so so so glad Craydon is getting better.. In fact he is behaving like the same old self.. All the pulling my hair, pinching my fats and climbing on my body nonsense all came back.. lolz.. :)

Anyway my sil (bil's wife) jus delivered a boy last Fri.. Baby weighed 2.08kg at 37wks and thanks goodness baby is very healthy and can discharge together with mummy.. He definitely look cute and jus got to know his name yest... Garrison.. How special name is that..

And my appetite is still not as good but weight is gaining fast and furious.. Damnn..

Mummy post : It has been a long long time since we last posted.. As I m typing now, Craydon is sleeping beside me.. He has been sick for the 5th day.. All the whining, loud crying, sleepless nite and countless of force feeding of medicine drama hav been ongoing in this house since last Wed.. This is the 1st time he has been sick for that long and dun worry, its definitely not H1N1 as we went to doc twice to double confirm.. Its a horrible stomach flu attack that causes all the stupid virus came out all at once.. Hopefully this will build up his immune system and be a stronger boy..

No mood to even eat now.. :( I wan my old Craydon BACK NOW!!!

Few weeks ago, went to my gynae for a checkup and found the cyst which was inside me for yrs has increased to 6cm+.. His concern is if we still plan to hav another baby, the best is to remove it as if is still increasing, it may complicate future pregnancy.. Hence me & dear decided to go for an op.. And yest was the big day, the surgery was at 5pm and after dropping Craydon at my mum's place, we went there with a nervous heart..

During the waiting time, I was really trembling with fear.. They started putting heartbeat detector on my chest, measuring my blood pressure, and inserted drips onto my hand.. Lying on the surgery bed, thinking will it be painful? Will I feel anything during the op? Can I go home within the same day? Hav my deardear taken his dinner yet? Is my boy naughty and causing trouble to my mum??

Ard 530pm, my gynae finally came and I dun know y when I saw him, I felt so light hearted, I know I can trust him.. He pat on my hand and shoulder to assure me everything will be alrite.. Then he told another Doc (which is a GA Doc), ok, they cano start now.. When I heard that, I quickly said, I M STILL AWAKE!! Cos I know I m supposed to be on GA when they do the surgery, how come I m still so conscious!! Then they both laughed like they heard the most funnily joke like that.. *slap head* Then my gynae said of cos I m still awake cos they havnt insert the GA into my drip yet.. hahahaa.. *slap head again* Then I was put to sleep by breathing some gas... Throughout the op I was sleeping and when I regain my conscious, I vomited and vomited.. Guess that the side effect of the GA.. My gynae show me the cyst and I was very surprised that is really quite big (abt kiwi fruit size) and he told me that everything is fine, my uterus and tubes r very good condition, I can hav 3 babies in 5yrs time *laugh*

When pushed back to the ward, I vomited again.. Actually they wanted me to stay overnite but I refused cos I miss my boy and my dear dear..

So now I m back home resting and dear taking care of Craydon.. Hope this stupid cyst won't come back again.. Pray hard mann.. I dun wana go thru this again unless is giving birth to a chubby baby.. kekeke..

Last week, we let Craydon try the sarong swing... which is actually belong to his baby cousin.. Initially, he seems alittle scare and rejected to be inside... But after awhile, he started to like it, and after I rocked it, he fell asleep!!!! For 2hrs+!!!! hahahhaaaa... And nowadays, whenever we went back to my mom's place for dinner, Craydon will keep asking us to put him inside the sarong swing.. keke....

My dear dear went for a biz trip since yest and so far today is the 2nd day.. And just when I thought I was handling well, little Craydon bumped his head twice.. And the 2nd time caused him to cry so much that he vomited out some milk.. Sighzz.. Hav to change his and my clothings, mop the floor and make sure he dun get near to the vomited area.. Tough job..

Hope everything will goes well tomolo and the day after tomolo and my precious hubby will be back.. Miss him so much!!!!!

Since my little one was born, I hav the habit of kissing his lip to show how much I luv him.. Just now, when I was lying down on his playmat (yes, again.. hahahaa) watching tv.. He walk behind me, use both his hands to turn my head facing him and bend down to kiss me!! I was so so surprised.. Normally I hav to ask him to kiss me then he kiss me.. But today he caught me in surprise!! Although his mouth is full of saliva at that time of kissing but I dun mind at all.. To me, his saliva is like bird nest.. hahaha..

I luv him so so much.. He is my little angel.. :)

Yest was our 2nd yr wedding anniversary.. Initially we planned to go for a fanciful dinner but then I figure next day dear has to go back to work so might as well postpone to celebrate it on fri since he will be on leave.. Then I came out with an idea to cook for my dear.. hahahhaaa.. I seldom cook.. So far I only did fried rice and fried omelette..

Was in his playroom watching tv while this little naughty boy playing his toys in front of me.. Then suddenly something draw my attention and I saw him stepping up on a small storage drawer that my dear gave me..

Anyway now that he know how to walk, he always like to go kitchen to disturb my drawers and cabinets by opening them and take things out.. Often u will see maggie mee la, cup noodles la, coffee sachets la all over the kitchen floor.. And he like to switch off the tv and fan while I was watching the show.. Sometimes when the programme get to the exciting part he can cheekilywalk towards the tv and switch it off.. hahahaa.. And whenever he does anything wrong, he will turn to look at me with a cheeky look to see if I will scold him and if I get up and walk towards him, he will run away.. How naughty is that..

After several months... (lost count, because almost very weekend when we shop past an electrical shop, I will sure go in and have a look at the LCD TV) ..and countless of indepth considerations....lot of sleepless nites...

At last... I have placed an order for a 42-inch SHARP AQUOS LCD TV... well we opt for HD ready type.. guess I don't have that extra money to buy a HD Blueray player.... and it source.. HD Disk doesn't come cheap too.. :) keke... HD ready TV should meet all our basics enterainement requirement.. (watch DVD movies and starhub cable tv)

22 Sept 2008 was a big day for both of us.. After a long wait of 3yrs++ we finally got the keys of our own house..

Early in that morning, we went HDB to collect the keys and after going thru all the procedure, off we went to open the door..

Did a defect checking and realise there is a tiny scratches on 1 of the bedroom door, also the window glass panel was not cut properly hence it was not in line.. We reported the fault at the BSC and the lady in charge told us it will be done in a few days time.. Also our designer came and the renovation will start this coming Monday!! yeahhh!!! FINALLY!!

Therefore, we have purchased a bed, dressing table, tv console for our MBR, 3 + 2 sofa, washing machine, fridge, dining table, hood and hob.. :) Still got many things we hav yet to buy.. sighzz.. $$$$$$ not enough..

Craydon's birthday is this coming Tue too, making us even more busy.. :P

Hopefully the renovation will go smoothly and we can move in latest by mid Nov.. yeahhh!!!

Yest during dinner time, Craydon got another episode of nose bleeding.. It was the 3rd time since few mths back and we decided to bring him to a PD immediately.. Luckily nothing major and doc explained that its was due to his running nose and itchness that causes him to rub his nose frequently hence causing a small tear on his nose and bleed.. He is quite a nice doc and even kiss Craydon before putting him down to check his nose.. So sweet!! keke..

And then after checking and explaining, he told us what he was going to prescribe.. And during the conversation, I thought I heard him saying horror medicine for curing the phlegm and I was so worried thinking it must be a terrible medicine that may cause vomit or lose appetite so I asked him Huh??? HORROR??? At that moment can see the PD was trying very hard not to burst out laughing.. He replied me saying its ORAL not HORROR.. Pengz.. I can mistaken oral as horror.. hahhaaaaa.. How paranoid was I??? hahahaaa..

Poor Craydon and me.. Both of us fall sick together.. Actually Craydon is the one who started the flu and cough and today I got slightly better but Craydon's cough got worse.. :( Hope he recover fast enough cos its his 1yo birthday soon..

Anyway must thanks to my dear who took 2 days leave specially taking care of me and Craydon.. :)

Last friday went Singapore Expo cos there is a John Little And Timberland sales.. Dear managed to buy 2 pairs of shoes from Timberland and its a great buy cos from $200++ discount down to $79!! How cheap is that!! kekee.. Anyway I also got my shoes too from John Little and Craydon got his toy and rompers so its a "win win situation" for all of us :P

Anyway I got a very unhappy incident at the Compasspoint Foodcourt yest. It was very crowded as usual and I saw an empty table with a gal aged ard 10yo standing near to it (and for everyone info she was not sitting down at the seat) I pushed the baby pram with difficulty and approached her asking if anyone is sitting there and she said no so I sat down while dear went to queue up for our food.. Then I happily took out Craydon's biscuit, water and tissue to start feeding Craydon his snack.. Few minutes later, a VERY FIERCE woman came by holding a tray of food very loudly exclaimed that the table was taken.. I was so taken back and told her nicely that the little gal said no when I asked her.. And this really rude woman stared fiercely at me and repeated its taken.. I was very embarrassed by the whole thing cos everyone ard there was looking at us and I had to remove everything, the snack box, water, tissue from that "table of hers".. Pengz.. Anyway this is just a misunderstanding, I dun understand y must she raise her voice? Can't she see I hav a baby and table full of things? Anyway if so, I will not take the table if that little gal said yes.. Also I will definitely return the table back to her and y must she raise her voice?? If I know the seat is her, give me money I also won't sit on it, it will only dirty my butt.. :P

Was pretty upset by the whole incident and I think dear dun understand y I was so angry that time.. He said suan le lorr.. pengz.. of cos I can only suan le lorr, can't be possibly argue with her in the public rite? :(

I really shake my head when I see this type of mummy, what good example is she showing to her daughter? By raising her voice and thing will be done according her way??

I mentioned here that I bought an educational VCD, My Baby Can Read for Craydon.. We have been playing it quite frequently in our car for him to watch.. Apparently he is STILL not interested in the content of the VCD.. The funny part is I m the one who luv to watch.. :) Esp the singing part.. there were 2 songs and I specially like the one that goes

Was watching National Day Rally on channel 5 last Monday.. And when our Prime Minister delivered this good news that there will be a changes of maternity leave from 12 weeks to 16 weeks.. Here r our conversation:

Me : (Stomping my chest) Aiyooo.. I dun like this incentive lehhhh.. I dun get to enjoy the privilegeeeeee.. 4mth leh.. 4mth lehhh... Envy Melissa, envy Marilyn.. *go on nagging and nagging* 4mth lehhhhhhhhh...

Dear : Never mind la, I give u 12mth maternity leave leh..

Gov gave 4mth ML and I got 12mth ML every year lehh.. Envy?? hahahaa... And somemore got "salary" (dear gave me allowance mthly), MC (when I m sick, dear will take leave to help taking care of Craydon) and bonus too (dear give me extra allowance when he got his bonus)..

How lucky am I??

Sighzz.. All the above is just to console myself for this attractive 4mth ML.. why am I jobless?? (Stomp chest again)

I read from a mummy in my blog link saying that her bb benefits a lot from an educational VCD titled Your Baby Can Read hence I dragged my hubby to a CD shop to buy the Vol. 1 for a try.. Then when back home, I happily play for "your highness" to watch and he simply not interested!!! I tried to lure him to look at the tv and yahhhh.. he watch it for a couple of sec then turn his attention to somewhere else.. I really pengz on the spot.. Sighzz..

Guess I m too ambitious wanting a 10mth boy to start learning "hippopotamus and chimpanzee" ba? hahhaaaa.. Although the starter age is 3mth but its really hard.. :P I dun learn hippopotamus till I was in Pri school..

I think next time I might need my boy to teach me the things he learn from school.. :P

Went polyclinic this morning for his 9mth assessment again.. (Did it in KKH last week) He passed all his test and the nurse said although he is small in size but very clever.. hahaaa.. Anyway he is only 7.5kg and 68cm measured today.. Still underweight but we blame it on his activeness.. I hav read a thread from Singaporemotherhood forum and learn that there r in fact alot of babies also very small in size despite being a full term baby.. Some even born 3kg+ and only 8kg++ at 1yr old.. And other is 7kg++ at 10mth.. I feel so much better that we r not alone.. :P

In fact I shd feel contented that Craydon look like this from then, a sad look...

Yup, I really shd feel contented... :)

PS : Craydon's bottom tooth has finally made it debut!! Yeahhh!!

After much consideration, we hav finally decided on the venue for the celebration of our little prince's 1st yr birthday.. Dear has booked the date and waaa laaaaaa...

It'ssss DOWNTOWN EAST CHALET!!!

The reason y we choose chalet is becos rite now we dun hav our own hse to hold the celebration, 2ndly karaoke function room is definitely out cos I wan the main focus to be on my prince not the singing.. 3rdly I LUV CHALET and I luv Downtown East!!! Escape theme part here I come!!! hahahaaaa...

I m so excited now thinking of the party.. Will definitely book a big 3D cake for our precious.. Now hav to observe what cartoon character he will like in another 2mth+ time..

Hav been quite worried about my mum these few days when she told me about her eye.. She got blur vision, abit painful and also redness on her right eye.. She kept worrying whether is eye cancer or 1 of the blood vessel burst.. So yest she decided to go to SGH eye specialist for a checkup and thank goodness it was just a false alarm.. Doc said nothing major just need to drop some eyedrops.. :)

Quite happy for 1 of my best pal today.. She is going to change her status TODAY.. Single to attached.. kekee.. I told her to buck up and get marry soon so that she can due the same time as me for my 2nd baby.. hahahaaa.. Too early to say.. I m so scare of pregnancy lehhh.. The fear the anxiety.. :P

Today is my sis birthday.. Didn't celebrate with her but bought her a Tiramisu.. :) Wish her a merry merry birthday and stay young always.. May all her troubles and problem fly away this instant and all her dreams come TRUE...

PS: I know 1 of her dream is to strike TOTO.. hahahaa..

Good news!

We have received the HDB housing loan letter for our new flat last thu!! SO HAPPY!! From what I know if I received this, simply mean we will be collecting keys real soon.. Really looking forwards and hope the house will be ready before Craydon's 1st birthday in Oct..

Oh.. Craydon started calling papa very clearly now.. He calling saying papa papa.. And I m not jealous laaaa... hahahaa.. errr... Mayb abit.. :P

Meet up with my old fren, Ms. Ong last wed.. Got 2 lovely birthday pressie from her, a perfume and eye shadow.. Very touched cos she always know what I like and want.. Just before that, I was thinking of buying a brown colour eye shadow as I notice mine r all bright colours.. :) Anyway I got her a GUESS bag (which is my fav brand) as her belated birthday pressie too.. keke..

I really like meeting my old frens and chit chatting with them.. This thu supposed to meet with another grp of gals but Mel's baby gal has a high fever last Sun.. Wonder she still free to meet up..

Gotta go before my prince is back from his morning walk with ah mah.. We r at my mum's place and my mum decided to bring him stroll ard with his stroller to see car car cos he luv to see moving cars.. :)

Anyone catch Pushing Daisies on Ch 5 last Sun?

It was the 1st episode and it was SO interesting!!

The show was about a guy named Ned who got the ability to bring the dead alive by touching him but if this guy remain alive for more than a min, another person will replace him and die on his behalf.. But the tricky part is if Ned touches the same guy the 2nd time, that guy will drop dead and die again.. How interesting is that?! kekekee..

This is the 2nd best show beside Desperate Housewives.. I used to complain that staying at home on a sun nite is boring cos there is not much interesting show to watch even with cable vision BUT now that there is Incredible Tales and Pushing Daisies, I m so looking forwards to Sun.. :P

Manage to steal some time blogging here while my two princes r sleeping..

Dear gave me a real surprise at the strike of midnite on the 6 june..

That nite, I went out of our bedroom for toilet break after the 11pm Zhang Bin Hui, Bryan Wong, Rui En, Huang Wen Yong and Felicia Chin 's (repeated telecast) show and when I was back, I saw Dear lighting 3 candles on the muffins on our bed!! Haahhaaaa.. Cos few days ago, when I saw Zoe Tay's ch 8 show baking muffins and I commented that it has been a while since I last tasted muffins and how I luv muffins blah blah blah and there he bought me 4 different flavours of muffins with lighted candles.. Then he started singing birthday song and passed me present.. A hello kitty perfume and key chain.. An inexpensive but very very thoughtful gift..

I totally didn't expect it cos I thought he was only going to wish me happy birthday when the clock strike 12.. :)

Next morning, we went out for jap buffet lunch at turf city with little Craydon.. I fed my little prince tofu and he luv it.. :) Another alternative beside porridge and cereal.. :P

Our son is 8mth old today!! In another 4 months time, our precious will be 1yr old.. I have started to discuss plans on where to hold his big 1 party.. We plan to do it on a chalet cos by then our new hse renovation may not be completed yet..

Have been surfing sengkang.com quite frequently.. It is a forum where most of the sengkang resident united and chat there.. From there, we r able to know the latest update on the progress of Tivela..

Now we r counting down the days on key collection.. Really very excited as in the next few mth time, we shd be able to receive the letter.. My dear and I hope we can get the keys latest by Aug so that we can start our renovation the following mth..

And after sourcing and comparing a few renovation company, we hav finally decided on one company, A & D which is located in Serangoon Rd.. Many positive feedbacks on this company hence we decided to give it a shot.. Contract has been signed and 1st round of design concept hav been discussed.. Now waiting for our designer to come out with the 3D drawings on our feature walls, TV consoles and kitchen cabinets..

Anyway I saw a few nice one from renotalk (hope they dun mind me posting their 3D drawing here)

Our designer told us by next week, he will email us our 3D drawings.. Shall post when received.. keke.. excited excited~!!

Its been 7mth+ since I become a mother..

To be honest, I m still not quite getting used to be one.. Looking at my boy, I feel guilty for not being a good mummy.. Cos somehow inside me, I feel tired, frustrate and I complain alot.. Esp during the period when he fell sick, almost every feed, he will merlion out everywhere, our bed, on the floor, his clothes and ours... And yes, he CRY alot.. My mum always scold me for not able to take enough hardship as she did during her time.. Where she had to take care of my sis and bro aged only 1yr apart when they were babies.. She said I m more fortunate cos I got a husband who helps (my dad is a mcp who dun believe in sharing hsehold chores)...

I admit I m a little impatient at times when taking care of my little one and I feel terribly sorry for him having a lousy mummy.. Sighzz.. Sometimes I miss the days when I can sleep thruout the nite and watch tv without any worries.. :P But some things has to sacrifice when we become parent..

Anyway few days ago, I cried.. The tv programme on ch 8, 9pm show remind me of my late brother.. I really really miss him very much.. If one can really turn back the clock, I will luv him and care for him more.. I will never say no to him.. I miss the days we chit chatted in the mid of nite and shake my sis's bed when she snored so loudly.. I miss the days we ride bicycle and play lion dances using blanket together..

Gorr, wherever u r, I wana tell u, I will never ever forget u as my bro and I will tell my son he has a uncle in the heaven...... May u stay happy and forget all the unhappiness and be peaceful and blissful... I luv u, GOR..

My dear and I brought Craydon to KKH again for a 2nd routine eye checkup and result tested ok.. Phew!! keke.. And today he weighs at 6.88kg, still underweight but a very happy baby cos he smiles to everyone he saw.. Whoever look at him and play with him, my little darling boy will smile and laugh so happily.. Many ppl told me it is a good sign that he is not afraid of stranger and willing to let anyone carry him.. But I think otherwise, I prefer my boy to be close to me and stick to me so he know who is his mummy.. My fren's baby, a 10mth baby, is very sticky to her mummy even in the earlier mth and refuse to let anyone carry her..

Now that I m still coughing away, wearing the face mask, covering part of my face will make Craydon even difficult to recognise me as mummy.. If I still wear face mask for the next few days, bet he will thought dear is his daddy cum mummy... hahhaaa..

Anyway we went to the so-called branded toy sales in Lok Yang Way and I was so disappointed!! Seeing 1 of the thread in motherhood forum, 2 mummies managed to bought a lot of toys, thought I can get a good bargain there, my dear and I purposely rushed there from KKH to Lok Yang.. In the end, we didn't get anything there cos the toys and packaging r quite dirty and broken, guess that is why the prices r lower by half.. But then again, I rather pay more for a cleaner one then to buy a toy that my boy will potentially put into his mouth..

Craydon has recovered from his cough and now its my turn.. Just 2days ago I developed a high fever of 39.1, sore throat and blocked nose.. Thanks to my mum and dear, Craydon was in their good hands while I was resting.. Now I feel better.. Only a few cough here and there.. :P

Anyway I read Singapore Motherhood forum quite frequently.. Was reading this Oct 07 Mummies thread and was quite surprised that 1 of the mummies is pregnant again and EDD is in Dec 08.!! She just gave birth in Oct last yr and this yr dec another baby? Wow.. I can't imagine myself having to take care of 2 babies when 1 is already driving me crazy.. I hav discussed this with my dear and we both agreed that at least Craydon is about 3 - 4yrs old then we started planning for a 2nd one.. :P

Today is PH and I m at home.. Sighzz.. Boring boring boringgggg...

Being a parent is not easy..

Having a premature baby is even harder..

Its really depressing to hear someone commenting ur baby how small he look or how useless if he is not taking some food so well as other babies do. Its even sadder to see other babies same mth but so much heavier than mine..

I hate ppl comparing my baby to other babies.. I try not to.. Sighzz.. I know my son is not taking apple quite well but dun say him useless k?

Last Mon went KKH, Dr Quek gave me a questionnaire which has to be done during Craydon's 8mth old to see if he is doing the activity regularly and test his motor skills..

Most of them I realise Craydon is doing it now..

- If u call to ur baby when u r out of sight, does he look in the direction of ur voice - YES!

- When a loud noise occurs, does ur baby turn to see where the sound came from - YES!

- Does ur baby make sounds like "da" "ga" "ka" "ba" - YES!

- If u hold both hands just to balance him, does ur baby support his own weight while standing - YES!

- Does ur baby reach for a crumb or Cheerio and touch it with his finger or hand - YES!

- Does ur baby try to pick up a crumb or Cheerio by using his thumb and all his fingers in a raking motion, even if he isn't able to pick it up - YES!

- Does ur baby pick up small toys with only one hand - If pacifier counted, YES!

- Does ur baby pick up a toy and put it in his mouth - YES!

- While lying on his back, does ur baby play by grabbing his foot - YES!

- When in front of a large mirror, does ur baby reach out to pat the mirror - YES! And he even uses his forehand to gently bang his mirror image.

My boy is 5mth corrected age now and he can do all the above I mentioned here.. I m very proud of him although he is still very much underweight.. :)

Last Mon, we took Craydon to KKH for a 3mthly PD appt.. Glad to know he is putting weight slowly after his bad cough.. He is 6.55kg at 6.5mth now.. But according to his 5mth corrected age (counted from the actual EDD he supposed to be born), he is 25-50 percentile.. :) And he passed all his motor skill test!! Dr Quek kept praising him!! keke..

Now instead of crawling forward, he will move backwards and he rotate!! hahhaaa!! Dr Quek said he is like a helicopter.. :P He also grabbing things and put into his mouth.. He know how to take out the pacifier from his mouth and stuff it back to his mouth!! Now we r feeding him frisocrem cereal recommended by my fren Melissa and he started to appreciate it.. And evening time, we feed him porridge.. He dun really like porridge and tend to make alot of noise and refuse to sit up to be fed.. Quite an attitude boy I can say.. hahahhaa..

Anyway I received an email from a long lost fren.. Ah Khan!!! Really really miss the time we work together in our ex company!!

Anyway, poor little Craydon is down with a bad cough and flu now.. We took him to PD and KKH last thu and sun and he is still not recovering yet.. Almost vomitted every feed of milk now.. Sighzz.. Weight drop and now he merely weigh 6.3kg at 6mth.. Hopefully he can recover by this Sun which is my brother in law's wedding day..

On a happy note, our flat in Tivela is almost complete and we received some inside news that we will be collecting keys by Jun/Jul this yr!! keke.. I m so excited that we finally having a place of our own soon.. Dear and I hav been going ard looking and comparing prices and carpentry work from various contractors..

Thanks to my bro in law, yest I got a chance to go back to my ex bridal shop in Liang Seah St.. And guess what? They all rem me!! Today me & my dear finally caught a movie after so many mths.. We managed to steal some time off to Junction 8 to watch CJ 7.. The show lasted 86mins.. It was not as funny as Stephen Chow previous movies but this one really touches my heart.. esp the part when the boy went home and insisted his teacher to leave so that he could sleep cos he believe when he wake up his daddy will be back.. I was tearing non stop during that part.. :P

Go watch this show if u think u r poor and complain about how small ur house is.. :P After watching, I realise my room is so "big".. kekekeee..

Poor Craydon has been coughing badly since few days ago.. And its all my fault cos I passed the virus to him.. We took him to KKH A & E today and he is given 3 different types of medicine.. At such a small age and he has to suffer all these, I feel so xin tong.. :(

But then again despite on coughing badly, he still gain another 0.2kg.. and now weighing at 4.97kg.. :) Hoping that he can gain more after he recover cos it is still considered as low weight for a 3mth baby..

This coming Mon is our 1st yr wedding anniversary.. No celebration cos that day Craydon has to go on a routine checkup at KKH.. That is the sacrifice we hav to make being a new parents.. :P

He posts :: I must admit that being parent is a tough job.. Whenever Craydon cough, we will be on high alert, worrying that he will vomit out all his milk, we start to grab the towel and put on his neck.. We start to worry what happen to our darling.. is it caused by the milk powder? or is Craydon having a bad cough? We change the milk powder from S26 Gold back to Similac Neosure... It seems to work for the 1st day.. Craydon still vomit some of the milk.. but at least not all of them... but during his feeding at night... he vomit again...we start to panic again.. we start to mix the similac with EnfalacA+.. But he vomit out all after finishing.. guess we are bad parent...

We decided to stick back to S26 Gold...so far so good.. but Craydon appetite has reduced.. normally he can drink finished 120ml.. but now only 60ml... yesterday..he seem to be very bad mood.. no appetite at all.. only finish 40ml to 60ml of milk... we bring Craydon to Kallang airport market for Christmas dinner... at there he has his 1st poo poo after 3 days... it dark green in colour.. this show that Craydon is not feeling well.. and a bit stress.. after his poo.. he seems to be very happy and relived..

Today, Craydon managed to finish 90ml of milk.. we feel happy for our darling.. grow strong and healthy k.. Craydon.. keke forgot to mentioned.. my dear is sick for the past 3 day already... lucky I took leave this week...busy looking after my dear wife and son...

Get well soon my dear dear wife, we can go out shopping when u r ok, love u..

Craydon has been coughing occasionally and vomit out milk for the past 3 weeks almost everyday.. Making me and dear very worried.. We hav been bringing him to see PD thrice and things r not improving.. We decided to change his milk powder today to monitor closely..

On a lighter note, I m proud to announce Craydon is weighing 4.755kg today!! keke.. To think he is only 1.5kg at birth..

Today we went to KKH for Craydon's rehabilitation assessment.. He has to respond to sound and pix, also the turning and lifting of his head.. And he score a 83.. According to the lady who did the test, Craydon is just on the average.. Some of the action, he did it very well at home however he is just very uncooperative today as usual.. hahhaaa.. So small yet so attitude already..

Today my dear and I managed to steal some time off to have dinner together at Turf City.. Dear's birthday is on 5 Dec and that day he will be in Japan for biz trip hence we hav an early celebration.. :P We had buffet in a nice cosy japanese restaurant.. It was recommended by my dear's colleagues.. Although the helping is small, the food was actually very nice.. We were very very full as we order alot.. After a fulfilling dinner, we walked ard and I can really say that there is nothing to shop at all in Turf City.. Dear was yawning away hence we decided to call it a nite and headed home.. It is the 1st fri nite we went out without Craydon and I realise I kept talking about Craydon to my dear.. hahaha.. I miss him so much when he is not with me..

Anyway we were looking at Craydon's pix and realise he has really grow since he was borned about 7 weeks+ ago.. Look at his before and after pix.. keke..

Craydon's weight is 3.595kg today!!! From 1.500kg at birth to 3.595kg today which is 6 weeks+ time, he gain a total of 2kg+!!! We r so proud of our little piglet!!

Anyway, we r still trying to get used of getting up every few hrs to attend to Craydon.. Yest I only managed to sleep for 1hr++ per interval.. Just a week ago, I was crying in the middle of the nite accusing my dear for not treating me the same as before and he has shower all his attention and loves to Craydon instead.. He no longer call me dear dear but to his son instead.. hahhaaa.. To think I m jealous about my son..

Mayb I m sensitive but I do feel that me and my dear has drifted apart cos of our son, we hardly chitchat like before cos even if we hav time, we rather catch some sleep..

However, I do hav to give my dear some credit.. he is doing his part by helping me to feed Craydon and rock him to sleep in the middle of the nite at times.. Plus he is the one who washes our clothes too.. He also try to bring me & Craydon to shopping and so far, we have been to IMM, Giant and Ikea Tampines..

Little Craydon is sleep next to me on our bed now.. Looking at him, can't help thinking that he is such an angel.. but then, when he cries, he is like a little devil.. hahahaa..

Hope he will grow up to be a fine and healthy boy.. That's our wish for now..

Tired is the word to descride me & my dear now..

Our life now is revolved ard milk feeding and diaper changing our baby Craydon.. He is rather cranky and need alot of attention.. Most of the time, we hav to wake up at average of an hr in the middle of the nite.. Parenthood is indeed never easy.. I even broke down a few times when he cried for no reason..

Lucky for now, I got some support from my mum which I went to her hse every Mon, Tue and thu during the day time so that she can help me look after Craydo while I catch some nap PEACEFULLY.. But a bad news, dear has to go biz trip early next mth which leaving me alone to take care of him in the middle of the nite :~(

Anyway, Craydon has celebrated his full month on the 3rd Nov last sat at a Hougang RC Karaoke room.. We hav received alot of gifts and angbao that day.. Quite a fun day that day but the only regret is we didn't take any pix cos too bz entertaining the guest.. But I managed to "steal" 1 from dear's cousin, Adam's blog.. kekekee..

Another visit Craydon day today!

We went KKH to learn CPR and how to bath Craydon as mentioned in previous entry..

Before Sister Chew started the CPR training, she said something that really make our day!! She said this training is for parents whose baby is going home real soon.. We really really looking forward and I can't wait to see him 24/7!!!!!

Oh yaa, Craydon weighs 1.904kg today.. I managed to bottle feed him once today..

From what I observe from yest and today, I think my dear can make a better parent than me.. I hav difficulty in feeding him and cleaning his poo whereas dear is so pro lorr.. sighzz.. I really got alot to learn as a mummy..

Today dear and myself went to KKH to visit our son.. We r supposed to learn CPR too but the nurse in charge was on MC hence it will be postpone till tomolo..

And a great news, Craydon's weight is 1.89kg today!!!! Dear dear also has the honour to feed him and change his diaper when he pooed today.. I let him do it cos I m still having running nose dun wana risk by passing virus to him.. And he cried alot today!! Even his neighbour's grandpa said Craydon cried very loudly, his lungs r powerful.. I feel amused by this comment..

We took alot of photos of Craydon today.. Will promise to post when dear upload them to pc.. Tomolo we will be expecting to learn CPR and how to bathe him.. The kind mummies from Singaporemotherhood forum said that when KKH arrange these training it simply mean baby will be going home soon!!!

Counting down to the days our baby is coming home with us!!!!

My dear just visited baby Craydon few hrs ago and his weight as measured yest is 1.82kg now.. And he is bottle feeding every 3hrly now instead of tube feeding as the tube has been removed!! YEAH!! YEAH!! So happy and very proud of my boy!! And best thing is he can suck very well but dear said he cried after feeding cos he wanted more milk according to the nurse.. And dear has to carry him and put pacifier on his mouth to smoothe him down..

Anyway the nurse on duty today said Craydon got daddy's look.. hahahaa.. but my mum, sis and even dear's auntie said Craydon look like me.. keke.. mayb now its too early to tell, must wait at least he is a few mths old then we will judge again.. kekekeeeeee.....

Its been sometime since we last blogged..

I m no longer pregnant..

My baby boy, Craydon has decided to make his arrival much earlier than his EDD 12 Nov, he is born in 34weeks 2days gestation and luckily I was injected 2 jabs to stabilized his lungs hence he is borned healthy and well except his weight is only 1.5kg when born.. He is now staying in KKH Special Care Nursery which he has to put on at least to 2kg before he can discharge..

When I was in my 32 weeks, my private gynae Dr Koh did a scan for me and found that my baby is very small size and hence send me to TMC for another detailed scan, result showed he is only 1.3kg.. Dr Koh then gave us an opt whether to stay with him or go to KKH for followup cos he predicted that shd the baby born, he will belong to small size baby & need to stay in SCN.. After much struggle, we decided to go KKH for another scan and result more alarming, he is only 1.2kg show in detailed scan.. And on next day, KKH gynae, Dr Marianne wanted me to admit to the hospital cos she suspect my waterbag leakage hence the baby is not growing so well inside me..

I was admitted to KKH on 29 Sept and after alot of dripping and CTG monitoring baby heartbeat and injection, I was discharged on 03 Oct.. Thats where the birth story started, I rested on our own bed when I reached home from hospital, I feel a pop sound inside my tummy.. Quickly I headed to the toliet and realised alot of water gushing from below and I know thats it.. my waterbag broke.. I cried and called my dear which he had to come back to fetch me to hospital again to re-admit (how funny rite? discharge and re-admit on the same day)..

Contraction is really no joke as it start kicking in every 5 to 10 mins interval and when I reach delivery suite, I was given the "laughing gas" to breathe in to ease the contracion pain.. As my baby is in breech position (meaning legs down head up) I had to go thru C-section delivery with epidural.. I was conscious throughout the operation (Thank God its only took 15mins) and the only thing I feel is shivering and the pulling sensation where the operation was.. And when I hear my baby cried, I feel so relieved, managed to catch a glance on him, I was pushed to another room to recuperate for awhile before push to ward..

I stay in KKH for a total of a week and it is really an example for me.. Never in my life I will know I hav to go thru this hardship to give birth.. All the planning of having my private gynae and giving birth in TMC is not fulfil.. But then again, I was very surprise that KKH has improve their service so much that I really appreciate the care and concern the nurses in my wards has given me.. I even told my dear I wana go back to KKH for our 2nd baby.. :)

Now, we r waiting for Craydon to gain more weight and able to be bottle feed instead of tube feeding now.. According to the nurse, he is bottle fed once in the morning and once in the nite and he is doing pretty well.. To date, he is 1.66kg since last weighed on Sun.. Hope he will gain more and be back home on time for his 1st mth celebration..

Today I went shopping alone at Compasspoint Metro.. Manage to get a NICER LOOKING pj (Already bought 6 cartoon pj in a pasar malam but too kiddy and material too thin.. errrmm.. can see thru if not wearing bra..) with buttons on the front, will wear it during hospital stay for breast feeding purpose.. Wana get some nursing bras too but the design is too ugly and it cost $35.90 each!! Kill people put fire lehhh.. Might as well I got it from Rivervale Mall cos 1 only cost $3.90 each lehhhh..

Also bought 5 pair of bootees as I realise Craydon only has 1 pair of bootee and many many pair of mittens.. My mother in law only got mittens for little Craydon during her HK holiday.. hahahaaa.. Anyway I got it for only $0.90 each lehh.. cheap rite? I didn't realise got 20% off until I saw the receipt.. so happy!~

Tomolo I m meeting my ex colleagues for lunch.. Irene who gave birth in June was back to work after her 3mth maternity leaves.. Can't wait to meet her to share some experience with me.. :)

Last weekend, dear and myself went to watch 2 movies in our fav cinema at Vivocity..

1.) Evan Almighty

This show is really very funny and meaningful.. We had many great laugh and even dear comment its a nice show (which is extremely rare) hehehehee..

Go watch it if u need a big laugh!~~ :P

2.) Ratatouille

Another fantastic show we enjoyed.. This movie make me feel like going for a holiday in Paris..

Just came back from Hougang Mall..

Bought 2 tops and 3 bottoms for Craydon (again).. Only $10!! hahhaaa.. Been grabbing cheap infant clothes as we figure no point buying exp ones as he can only wear for a mth or 2 and grow bigger.. I also buying more M size than S size.. :)

To date, think we have about 50+ clothings (including hand-me-down) for Craydon.. Will continue to buy if there is good offer.. kekekeee..

Dear went biz trip to Jap since last Sun and will be back this Sat.. Without him by my side, I hav been very careless.. Just now when I was heading home, I almost fell down when trip over a kerb.. Lucky I m able to balance myself with another leg but then, I hurt my back alittle.. :P Guess I m getting clumsier.. keke..

Today suppose to meet an ex colleague who came back all the way from Dubai as her hubby is assigned to a job there.. But she sms me at 10.20am to inform me she is not feeling well and need rest for her return trip tomolo.. Sighz.. Can't see her to bid bon voyage and dun know when she will be back again.. But then again, is pretty touched that she still rem me & gave me a call few days ago.. :)

Miss my dear so much.. and so looking forward to the banana cake he promise to buy me from Jap.. kekeeee.. *drooling*

Guess what?? We went to the Taka baby fair again yest.. keke.. It was so crowded on a weekend.. Everywhere is pregnant women and babies in strollers.. We decided to get the steriliser instead of dear's auntie to buy for us..

Avent Express Steriliser come with 2 milk bottles, 2 extra teats, 2 pacifier and a brush pricing at $135 instead of RP$171.. Best thing is it come with freebies like pillow, bolster and a digital thermometer.. :)

We also bought breastmilk containers x 10 at only $19.90 which is selling at RP$27.80.. Good bargain rite? kekee.. Definitely will be going there again!! hehehe..

Yest I went to the Taka Baby Fair and bought a couple of stuff for baby Craydon.. Too bad we hav bought most of the stuff cos there r really alot of good bargain.. I bought a nail clipper only at $1.30, a cooling teether at $1, baby washing clothes at $4.90 for 6 pieces per pack, 3 baby tops for $9.90, 1 pillow and 2 bolsters at $12.90 and (cute blue) blanket at $8.90!!! Good buy rite?? kekekee.. wana buy more but cos I went alone as dear was working..

The last prenatal lesson we had yest was all about breast and formula feeding.. After hearing what our instructor taught us, I really confirm I wana do breastfeeding.. Its free, free & free!! We will really save alot from the formula and most impt, will lose weight... heheheee... Hopefully when the time come, I will be like a cow able to supply abundant milk for our darling Craydon.. :P

Went to watch Rush Hour 3, as usual, it was funny and the fight was good.. Go watch it if u need some laugh.. keke.. :)

Last fri, we went for our 4th prenatal lesson in TMC.. We were given a baby doll for practicing.. Dear said the doll look like his cousin, Alex.. And during the lesson, dear kept calling him Alex.. *pengz*

We really learn alot on how to bath our newborn and the necessary things to buy for it.. This coming fri will be our last lesson and its all about breast feeding and formula feeding.. :) So sad its gotta be the last one cos we really hav fun in learning and laughing during the lesson.. It is really something new to us..

Oh ya, we watch the local movie, 881 too.. alot of hokkien songs which although I dun really like hokkien songs but undeniable, the songs in the show r actually very very nice.. The show is abit bo liao in the effect but it is funny and the ending touches our heart..

Go watch it esp if u appreciate hokkien songs.. :)

Today we went to John Little Sales in Orchard and bought alot of baby stuffs for Craydon!! Its 20% storewide and for members, there is an additional 5% - 10% rebate..

We bought J & J baby bath, baby lotion, cotton wool, towels, diapers, baby wipes, pacifier and my washable breast pads..

To date, we have bought most of the necessary baby stuffs like Avent milk bottles, milk divider dispenser, baby clothes & pants, mittens, booties, bibs and a cute blue colour dog soft toy..

Hand-me-down product courtesy by dear's aunties - Carrying rocking chair, milk bottles, pacifiers, clothes and pants, bibs, baby shoes, electric milk pump, pacifiers clips, diaper bag and some baby toys..

1 of dear's auntie also promise to buy a milk bottle steam sterilizer for Craydon!! keke.. We plan to buy baby stroller in a later date cos Craydon can only sit in when he is about 2 - 3mths, moreover, dear's company will give him about $200++ vouchers hence we can make use of that voucher to buy.. :P

Next is to buy a baby blanket for Craydon.. Dear's mum promise to sew pillow and bolster for him..

More or less, all the things we need for Baby Craydon has been purchase.. Still got 3mths+ before Craydon can use all these stuffs.. So exciting!!
